There are many ways we need to raise money to pay for the Ferry Fair, here a just but a few. The committee would like to thank everyone who has generously donated funds over the years

Ferry Fair festival received a welcome boost with a bumper cheque for £3000.
Fair Queen Amy Hamilton Peters is seen accepting a cheque for £3000 from Lodge St Margaret representatives Bruce Liddell (left) and Robert Harris.
The money was raised from an auction and raffle at last year’s sixth annual Jim Liddell Memorial Dinner held in the Lodge. The event originated as a gentlemen’s dinner and was first organised as a Ferry Fair fundraiser by the late Jim Liddell, a long-standing supporter and committee member of the Ferry Fair. Following Jim’s death, a group of friends decided to continue the tradition and renamed the event in Jim’s memory. To date over £30,000 has been raised and shared between the Ferry Fair and a bursary scheme for local High School students. This year’s event on Friday, June 1, was a sell out.
