Ferry Fair Book Shop Grand Reopening April 9th 2022.

September 2021 the refurbishment of the bookshop began with Tracy, Anne Marie, Jill, Tom and not forgetting Lewis going in and starting the mammoth task of emptying the book shop and getting it cleaned.

The reopening today couldn’t have happened without the help and support of various people, starting with Rosebery Hall, especially Mary Giblett, Atilla for keeping us in coffees and various things we needed, The Rotary Club of South Queensferry for their incredible paint job, Kevin Ferguson Flooring for donating the flooring and labour, Julia and Maisies for their support and help with decoration, arch décor and their creative imagination at their own expense, Louise Wilson for the help with vinyl quotes and her absolute patience when applying them. David Steel for his years of dedication looking after the book shop, I hope we can give it as much as he did. Queen Grace and our Herald Charlie for officially opening the shop today. Our fantastic committee members who have all helped and of course the amazing community who have donated so many books and also volunteered.

Opening hours for next w/c 11/4 as it presently stands … Mon 10-12 Tues 9:30-12 Wed 10-2 Thurs Closed Fri 11-1 Sat 9:30-1 Sun Closed Thank you to all the volunteers who run the bookshop. Books are available to all, please donate if and what you can. All proceeds go towards delivering the Ferry Fair.
