Meeting 22nd March update.

We had another full committee meeting in Rosebery Hall on March 22nd. Lots to discuss and firm up for this year’s fair. The committee have confirmed bookings for the bands in the parade and for the stage. Thursday night’s events are coming together with confirmation of inflatables for Burgess Park and a couple of new things!!…..find out more when the programmes go on sale. Talking about the programme, it is being organised as we speak. Local businesses and organisations have been approached for adverts and sponsorship of events and the content is presently being written. If anyone would like to advertise or offer sponsorship for any of our events then please get in touch, exciting times. The main part of the evening was the ever important task of choosing our Gracious Person. The prestigious role this year has gone to Mrs Anne Mitchell. Our chair person, Tracy, had the enviable task of letting Anne know she had been picked to be this year’s Gracious Lady. So things are coming along at a nice pace.
