This has been a very difficult year for us all, and we have all had to make changes to the way we live our lives. The one big positive we can all take from this year is how our community have come together to help one another. It's at times like this that you realise how important it is to keep great traditions like the Burryman going and I can't wait to see you all on Friday 14th August.
I would like to thank all my family and friends for their help and support before, during and after the Burryman, you all do a fantastic job and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
A special thank you goes out to the staff at the Staghead Hotel for their hospitality and Robert and Christine Dickson for the fantastic spread they put on for all my helpers!! Very much appreciated.
It was a honour to present the hat to David Steel last year, I think you would all agree it was well deserved for all his hard work and commitment to the Ferry Fair and we hope David is enjoying his retirement, once again David thank you very much.
To all the people of South Queensferry and visitors thank you so much for the fantastic support you all show on the day.
