This is a fun football festival for all local players from P1-S4.

Groups are as follows:

 

Group A: Primary 1-3

Group B: Primary 4-5

Group C: Primary 6-7

Group D: S1-S2

Group E: S3-S4

(age groups based on classes before summer holidays)

 

Please note: NO TEAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE NIGHT

 

Deadline for forms: Wednesday 31st July 2024 at 5pm

On receipt of the application –you will receive a confirmation text within 24 hours.

Rules

 

1.  All team members must be resident in the Queensferry/Dalmeny/Newton area or attend one of the schools or youth groups.

2. You must have checked in by 5.45pm ready for kick off at 6pm.

3. Group A will be a fun festival of round robin games with no points or finals.

4. Groups B-D will consist of round robin group games progressing to a “Final” match

5. Each group game and final will last around 10 minutes, however this is dependent on the number of entries.

6. In the event of a draw the final games will be decided on a “Sudden Death” penalty shoot out

7. Standard football rules for small-sided games apply

8. All players and coaches must wear the correct footwear (football boots with plastic, not metal studs).

9. A “Sin Bin” will be in operation at the Referee’s discretion

10. All supporters must watch games from the designated spectator areas.

11. Group A will play in “Fun 4’s goals, all other groups will play with 7-a-side goals.  Groups are dependent on the number of entries and subject to change.

12. In the event of a dispute the Referee’s decision is final.

13. Just to re-iterate that no teams can be accepted on the night as all fixtures have been set prior to event.

 

Finally, please remember:  This is not the World Cup!  All coaches, parents and spectators are reminded to encourage and support all the children taking part.  This is a children’s festival, let’s make it as fun and special for them as possible!
